Essa Automotive Manufacturing (Pvt) Ltd seeks an experienced Air Filter Line Manager to oversee and optimize the production line dedicated to air filter manufacturing. The ideal candidate holds a DAE or Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and brings over five years of hands-on experience managing production lines in automotive or filter manufacturing environments. This role demands a proactive professional skilled in coordinating daily production activities while ensuring adherence to quality standards and workplace safety. As the manager of a team of 10, you will be responsible for leading, motivating, and developing your workforce to meet production targets and continuously improve operational effectiveness. The role requires strong expertise in production planning and scheduling, lean manufacturing principles, and quality control and assurance methods. You will coordinate preventive maintenance activities and troubleshoot manufacturing process issues to reduce downtime and optimize output. The position also involves managing inventory and materials, analyzing key performance indicators, and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations. Proficiency in basic Excel and ERP software is essential to support data-driven decision-making and efficient resource management.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the air filter production line to meet scheduled targets and maintain product quality.
• Lead, develop, and motivate a team of 10 personnel to achieve high levels of productivity and engagement.
• Implement lean manufacturing techniques to improve production processes, reduce waste, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Plan and schedule production activities, balancing equipment capacity, material availability, and workforce requirements.
• Conduct and oversee quality control and assurance procedures to ensure products meet company and industry standards.
• Monitor key performance indicators related to production performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules to minimize line downtime and maximize equipment reliability.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing process issues promptly, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Manage inventory levels and materials flow to support uninterrupted production while minimizing excess stock.
• Enforce occupational health and safety standards, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
• Utilize basic Excel and ERP tools for production reporting, data analysis, and resource planning.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional teams and applying best practices.
