Excel Cotton is seeking a diligent and trustworthy Accountant with a minimum of five years of experience, ideally with a background in the clothing industry. This role requires managing a team of 23 persons, ensuring accurate financial reporting, adherence to tax regulations, and maintaining comprehensive control over general ledger activities. The candidate must demonstrate strong expertise in financial analysis, accounts reconciliation, and tax preparation, all while upholding a high standard of integrity and loyalty. This position is based at Azam Market, and the successful applicant must be willing to work at this location. The Accountant is responsible for overseeing financial processes and ensuring compliance with tax filing procedures and regulations. This role demands strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in Excel to support financial data management. The Accountant will work closely with internal departments to streamline financial operations and provide accurate financial insights to guide company decisions. A clean record and trustworthy character are essential to perfectly fulfill the company’s standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate financial reports and statements in compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
• Ensure compliance with all tax obligations including preparation, filing, and adherence to tax regulations.
• Lead and supervise a team of 23 accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis to assist in budgeting, forecasting, and identifying financial performance trends.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation to support audits and internal controls.
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain up-to-date financial information and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor and implement improvements to current accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity in managing sensitive financial information.
• Support management in strategic financial planning and decision-making by providing timely financial data and insights.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and external regulations related to tax filing and financial compliance.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities during audits and inspections.
• Maintain sound knowledge of the clothing industry’s financial practices and market conditions relevant to accounting operations.
