Customer Support & Operations Agent (English)
Ezo CC
PKR 56,000 • Published Date: • Faisalabad, Pakistan (On-Site)
Description
About the Position
EZO Contact Center is looking for dependable, professional, and adaptable individuals to join our in-office operations team.
While answering inbound calls and assisting customers will be a major part of the position, this is not strictly an answering-service role.
Employees work directly for EZO Contact Center and may be assigned to different clients, projects, and internal business functions depending on operational needs. We are looking for people who can follow instructions carefully, learn new processes quickly, communicate professionally, and comfortably handle a variety of relatively straightforward assignments during their shift.
Some shifts may be heavily focused on answering calls, while others may include administrative work, customer follow-up, data entry, monitoring, research, messaging, or other support functions.
Future Remote Monitoring Responsibilities
EZO is developing an additional remote monitoring service that may eventually become part of this position.
When this service launches, employees assigned to monitoring duties may be responsible for observing live security-camera feeds for client properties or job sites.
These responsibilities may include:
- Monitoring multiple live camera feeds from a workstation
- Watching for unauthorized persons, suspicious activity, theft, trespassing, safety concerns, or other designated events
- Responding to alerts generated by camera or detection systems
- Following established verification and escalation procedures
- Documenting incidents
- Contacting designated client personnel when required
- Contacting security personnel or emergency services when authorized by the applicable procedure
- Maintaining attention during periods when little or no activity is occurring
This is remote observation and communication work performed from the EZO office. Employees will not physically confront individuals or perform on-site security duties.
Training and specific procedures will be provided before employees are assigned these responsibilities.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate is:
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable speaking with customers over the phone
- Able to communicate clearly in English
- Professional and courteous
- Comfortable using computers and web-based software
- Able to follow detailed written instructions
- Able to switch between different clients and assignments
- Attentive to detail
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks when necessary
- Able to remain focused during quieter periods
- Willing to learn new systems and processes
- Comfortable receiving different assignments depending on business needs
Because our employees may support several different businesses, adaptability is extremely important.
You should be comfortable learning a client’s procedures, completing that assignment correctly, and then transitioning to another task when instructed.
Work Environment
This is a fully in-office position.
Employees may work with multiple clients and business functions during the same shift.
There may be periods when call volume is low. During those periods, employees should expect to complete other assigned work rather than simply waiting for calls.
We are looking for employees who want to become versatile members of our team rather than individuals interested in performing only one specific task.
Examples of Assignments
Depending on your shift and the needs of the company, you might:
Answer calls for an electrical company, schedule an appointment, update a customer record, respond to a website lead, perform a basic research assignment, make several follow-up calls, monitor a client dashboard, and eventually monitor remote security-camera feeds.
You will not necessarily perform every type of assignment every day.
Requirements
- Ability to work from our office
- Strong English communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to follow instructions independently
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding client information
- Ability to remain available and productive throughout the scheduled shift
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
Previous experience in customer service, call centers, virtual assistance, dispatching, administrative support, appointment setting, security monitoring, or similar work is helpful but not necessarily required.
Responsibilities
- Answer inbound customer calls professionally and according to client-specific procedures.
- Take and accurately document messages and customer information.
- Schedule appointments and manage call transfers or routing as needed.
- Respond effectively to basic customer-service questions across multiple communication channels including phone, email, SMS, or website leads.
- Perform data entry and update customer information using CRM software, spreadsheets, or client-specific tools.
- Conduct basic online research to support customer inquiries or projects.
- Complete outbound calls or follow-up calls when assigned to maintain customer relationships and resolve issues.
- Monitor client dashboards and report any activity requiring attention according to established protocols.
- Follow written standard operating procedures (SOPs) and escalation guidelines meticulously.
- Carry out various administrative and operational support tasks as assigned by Ezo management to ensure smooth workflow across projects.
- Adapt quickly between different client assignments and business functions during shifts, demonstrating flexibility and versatility.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information and company data at all times.
- Prepare for and execute remote video monitoring responsibilities by observing multiple live camera feeds, identifying unauthorized activities or safety issues, and following verification and escalation procedures as required.
- Document any incidents observed during monitoring accurately and contact designated client or security personnel following approved protocols.
- Sustain high concentration levels during monitoring periods with little activity, ensuring any unusual events are promptly reported.
- Continuously improve familiarity with new software tools, client procedures, and operational processes through ongoing training and learning.
