Accounts Executive – Imports & Taxation

Description

Faisal Movers seeks a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Accounts Executive specializing in Imports and Taxation. This role requires managing import documentation and executing accurate tax filing and reporting to ensure compliance with the Sales Tax Act, Income Tax Ordinance, and applicable regulatory frameworks. The ideal candidate brings at least three years of experience working with import procedures, customs documentation, and Letter of Credit (LC) transactions. 

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting records related to import transactions.
• Prepare and process import documentation, including LCs, shipping documents, and customs-related records.
• Ensure compliance with import regulations and coordinate with customs clearing agents.
• Prepare, review, and file Sales Tax returns in accordance with FBR regulations.
• Prepare and file Income Tax withholding statements and annual tax returns.
• Reconcile sales tax input and output records.
• Maintain tax documentation and support tax audits.
• Prepare tax payment vouchers and ensure timely submission of taxes.
• Coordinate with FBR and other regulatory authorities regarding tax matters.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare account reconciliations.
• Assist in monthly and annual financial closing activities.
• Support internal and external auditors by providing required documentation.
• Perform any other finance and taxation-related duties assigned by management.
