Description
Faisal Movers is seeking a dedicated IT Officer to oversee and maintain the company’s computer systems, network infrastructure, and overall technical support operations. The successful candidate will install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems to ensure efficient and uninterrupted business operations. This role requires hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing network connectivity, and supporting daily IT activities with a proactive and responsible approach. Although this position does not involve team management, excellent collaboration and communication skills are essential to provide timely support across various departments. The IT Officer plays a critical role in maintaining the technological backbone of Faisal Movers by delivering reliable IT services, ensuring compliance with IT standards, and optimizing system configurations. The role demands a strong foundation in computer science or information technology, with at least two years of experience in network administration, help desk support, and IT compliance. This position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, tackling technical challenges and driving operational efficiency through well-maintained IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and operating environments to meet business needs.
- Provide hardware management, including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all IT equipment and peripherals.
- Manage network cables, wiring, and connectivity to ensure stable and secure network communications.
- Perform system configurations and software installations, ensuring compliance with organizational IT policies.
- Deliver technical support to staff and departments, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate IT records and documentation related to hardware, software licenses, and network configurations.
- Monitor IT systems and conduct regular maintenance to prevent disruptions and identify potential risks proactively.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their technical requirements and provide effective IT solutions.
- Ensure adherence to IT compliance standards, assisting with audits and implementing security best practices.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance IT processes and system performance.
