Car AC repair Technician

Fast Zone is seeking a skilled Car AC Repair Technician with at least five years of hands-on experience to join our team. The ideal candidate must possess comprehensive knowledge of automotive air conditioning systems and be proficient in diagnosing and repairing A/C issues. This role requires expertise in refrigerant leak detection, recovery, evacuation, and recharging processes, utilizing advanced tools and techniques. The technician will work independently, performing detailed inspections and repairs to ensure optimal A/C system performance in various vehicle models, while maintaining compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The Car AC Repair Technician will apply specialized diagnostic methods to identify system malfunctions accurately and implement effective repairs. This position requires a commitment to quality workmanship and an ability to stay updated with the latest automotive HVAC technologies. Candidate certification or documented experience from major companies demonstrating solid expertise is essential. Although this role does not include managing a team, it demands initiative, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills to meet customer satisfaction and company standards consistently.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and performance issues within automotive air conditioning systems using electronic detectors and UV dye leak detection methods.
• Perform refrigerant recovery, evacuation, and recharging by operating A/C service machines according to safety and environmental guidelines.
• Inspect and repair HVAC components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, hoses, and valves to restore system functionality.
• Conduct refrigerant leak detection through the use of electronic leak detectors and UV dye application, ensuring thorough identification and resolution of leaks.
• Maintain accurate service records and document all repairs, replacements, and maintenance activities performed on vehicles.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain the issues, repair options, and maintenance advice related to their vehicle's A/C system.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry regulations regarding refrigerant handling and disposal.
• Stay current with advances in automotive HVAC systems and repair techniques by engaging in ongoing training and professional development.
• Ensure all work meets Fast Zone's quality standards and contribute to achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Use diagnostic tools and repair equipment skillfully to troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of A/C system problems.
