Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim is seeking a skilled Maintenance professional to oversee and execute mechanical maintenance tasks essential for the smooth operation of our facilities. The candidate will manage a team of 10 persons, ensuring that all mechanical systems are maintained efficiently and any mechanical issues are promptly addressed. This role demands a proactive approach to maintenance activities to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance. The ideal candidate brings at least five years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance and demonstrates strong leadership capabilities to guide and develop the maintenance team.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of 10 maintenance technicians, coordinating daily tasks to ensure effective mechanical maintenance operations.

Perform regular mechanical inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.

Develop and implement maintenance schedules and protocols to prevent equipment breakdowns and extend machinery lifespan.

Diagnose mechanical faults and troubleshoot issues promptly to reduce downtime and maintain production efficiency.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and repair history to support audit and compliance requirements.

Collaborate with production and engineering teams to plan shutdowns and maintenance projects minimizing operational impacts.

Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory compliance during all maintenance tasks to protect personnel and assets.

Train and mentor team members to enhance their technical skills and promote continuous improvement within the maintenance department.

Manage maintenance resources including tools, spare parts, and external service providers to ensure readiness and cost-effectiveness.

Report regularly to management on maintenance performance, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
