Malaysian company is seeking a skilled Textile Designer to join our dynamic team in a fully remote, full-time capacity. The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in textile print design and a solid portfolio demonstrating their creativity and technical skills. This role involves leading a team of professionals in delivering innovative and high-quality textile designs that align with current market trends and client expectations. The candidate must be comfortable collaborating across departments to ensure the successful development and execution of textile products. The Textile Designer will be responsible for developing digital prints, seamless patterns, managing colorway development processes. Candidates must have at least 2 years of relevant experience and be prepared to provide a short, unpaid design sample for evaluation during the selection process. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Create innovative textile print designs that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
- Develop seamless repeating patterns and oversee the color separation and colorway development processes.
- Utilize photoshop and illustrator
- Collaborate with product development, marketing, and production teams to ensure design feasibility and alignment with brand standards.
- Review and refine textile designs based on feedback from stakeholders and market research.
- Maintain a strong portfolio of original work and consistently update skills in textile design software and techniques.
- Manage project timelines to meet deadlines for design submissions and collections launches.
- Ensure all design work adheres to industry and company quality standards.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in textile design to continuously enhance design output.
