PRODUCTION MANAGER

Description

The Production Manager at Fine Tec Martrial Art and Boxing Equipment plays a critical role in overseeing and managing the entire production process. This role requires the ability to create efficient daily and weekly production plans across multiple sections including cutting, stitching, finishing, and packing. The manager is responsible for forecasting material requirements and coordinating with purchasing and store departments to ensure timely material availability. With a focus on maintaining high standards, the role involves ensuring quality checks at all production stages to minimize rejections and rework, thereby optimizing production efficiency. Managing a team of five, the Production Manager leads with a strong emphasis on monitoring production performance and controlling costs to stay within budgetular targets. The incumbent is expected to prepare comprehensive reports on daily production, output, and quality for management review. This position demands at least 10 years of relevant experience and strong skills in production planning, quality management, cost control, and performance monitoring to support the company’s operational success.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement daily and weekly production schedules for all departments including cutting, stitching, finishing, and packing.
• Forecast material requirements accurately and coordinate with the purchase and store teams to ensure timely availability of required materials.
• Conduct detailed quality inspections at each production stage including cutting quality control, inline quality checks, and final quality assessment to reduce defects and rework.
• Monitor production costs and enforce budgeting controls to optimize production expenses.
• Track production performance metrics continuously and implement improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Lead and supervise a team of five production staff, delegating tasks and fostering a collaborative work environment to meet production targets.
• Prepare and submit daily reports detailing production output, quality statistics, and any operational issues to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and promote a safe working environment within the production area.
• Identify and resolve production bottlenecks to maintain smooth workflow and timely product delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, quality assurance, and logistics to streamline operations and maintain consistent quality standards.
