We are seeking a dedicated Tea Boy to join FMC, a fast-moving consumer goods company. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience, including 2 years as a tea boy in a fast-paced FMC environment and prior experience as a pizza chef at Broadway Pizza. This role involves managing a team of 20 persons, ensuring efficient tea service and maintaining high standards of hospitality within the company. The candidate will play a key role in supporting daily operations through timely beverage preparation and excellent customer service. The Tea Boy leads a team responsible for preparing and serving tea and related refreshments to staff and visitors. This position requires strong organizational skills to manage supplies and maintain cleanliness in service areas. The successful candidate will coordinate with various departments to meet beverage service needs and contribute to a positive workplace environment. Leadership skills are essential to supervise the team effectively and motivate them to achieve service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve tea and other beverages according to company standards and schedules.
• Manage and supervise a team of 20 persons, ensuring smooth operation and timely delivery of services.
• Maintain inventory of tea, coffee, and related supplies, and coordinate procurement as needed to avoid shortages.
• Ensure all service areas and equipment are kept clean and hygienic at all times in compliance with health regulations.
• Coordinate with different departments to arrange beverage services for meetings, events, and daily routines.
• Train and guide team members on proper service protocols, safety standards, and customer interaction techniques.
• Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and implement improvements to enhance service quality.
• Handle any service issues or customer requests promptly and professionally to maintain satisfaction.
• Assist in scheduling shifts and managing attendance records for the team.
• Contribute to creating a supportive and cooperative work environment within the tea service team.
