The Manager Administration & Government Liaison at Food Consults leads a dedicated team of four personnel, overseeing regulatory compliance and fostering productive relationships with government agencies. This role demands a proactive professional who can independently resolve compliance challenges within the restaurant, hospitality, retail, or manufacturing sectors. The ideal candidate possesses strong negotiation skills and an existing network within Punjab government departments, ensuring that the company effectively navigates all regulatory and administrative requirements. Regular travel across Lahore branches is a key expectation, as is fluency in both Urdu and English to facilitate clear communication with diverse stakeholders. In this position, the manager acts as the primary contact for government entities, including PFA, PRA, Excise, and Labour Departments. They are tasked with managing government documentation, reporting, and public affairs, while also supporting the organization’s strategic objectives through effective liaison and administration. The role requires a balance of leadership and hands-on problem-solving to guide their team and maintain compliance standards with minimal supervision, contributing to the smooth operation and reputation of Food Consults.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of four personnel to ensure efficient administration and government liaison activities.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key Punjab government departments such as PFA, PRA, Excise, and Labour Department.
- Monitor regulatory changes and implement compliance protocols to uphold company standards and avoid legal risks.
- Handle all government documentation management including acquiring, renewing, and maintaining licenses and permits.
- Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports to regulatory authorities in alignment with government requirements.
- Negotiate with government officials at various levels to resolve regulatory compliance issues independently and effectively.
- Coordinate public affairs activities to enhance the company’s image and maintain transparency with governmental bodies.
- Plan and execute visits across multiple Lahore branches to ensure consistent compliance and address any administrative challenges.
- Communicate clearly in Urdu and English to liaise with internal teams, government stakeholders, and external partners.
- Stay informed about developments in the regulatory environment and recommend changes or improvements to company policies.
- Collaborate with senior management to align government liaison efforts with overall business strategies.
- Train and mentor staff members to develop their understanding and capabilities related to regulatory compliance and government relations.
- Handle unforeseen compliance or regulatory issues promptly to minimize disruption to company operations.
