This role requires a Chartered Accountant qualification and a proven track record of 8 to 10 years in finance, emphasizing budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and internal controls. The Senior Finance Manager plays a vital role in guiding the financial direction of the company by providing thorough financial analyses, identifying risks, and delivering timely insights to support business decisions. In this position, the candidate must demonstrate strong professional judgment and take ownership to manage financial responsibilities independently. Although this role does not include team management, it involves liaising closely with senior management and operational units to ensure robust financial practices and compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional financial planning and analytical skills, a mature and confident presence, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively across all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and management of budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Conduct detailed variance analysis and provide actionable insights to senior management for informed decision-making.
• Oversee management reporting systems to ensure accuracy, reliability, and regulatory compliance across all financial statements.
• Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure adherence to financial policies and GAAP standards.
• Manage costing and profitability analyses, working capital optimization, and cash flow management to drive financial efficiency.
• Identify potential financial risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to protect company interests.
• Collaborate with business and operational teams to address financial and commercial matters and drive cost-saving initiatives.
• Provide timely and accurate financial reports to senior leadership, ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements including SOX compliance.
• Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes and systems to enhance operational effectiveness and reporting capabilities.
• Take full ownership of key finance responsibilities in the absence of the Chief Financial Officer, acting as the primary finance lead.
• Demonstrate strong professional judgment while managing complex finance issues independently.
• Maintain effective communication and relationships with internal stakeholders and external auditors to support the company’s financial integrity.
