The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, managing a team of one, and driving financial controls and business performance optimization through insightful financial analysis and stakeholder collaboration. The Senior Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management including variance analysis, management reporting, costing, cash flow monitoring, and risk identification. This role requires a proactive leader who ensures thorough financial controls while supporting cross-functional teams with commercial and financial insights. The successful candidate utilizes advanced financial knowledge and communication expertise to recommend process improvements, enhance profitability, and maintain working capital efficiency. A proven track record in industries such as tyres, automotive, manufacturing, FMCG, chemicals, lubricants, or related fields will be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate comprehensive budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis to support strategic financial decision-making.
• Prepare detailed management reports and provide clear financial insights to guide business strategies and operational improvements.
• Oversee costing activities, profitability analysis, and implement cost-efficiency initiatives to enhance the company’s financial sustainability.
• Monitor working capital, manage cash flow processes, and ensure strong financial controls to mitigate organizational risks.
• Collaborate actively with business units to provide commercial and financial analysis that supports tactical and long-term objectives.
• Identify potential financial risks, develop mitigation strategies, and recommend improvements for financial processes and controls.
• Manage and develop the finance team member to build a high-performing unit aligned with organizational goals.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, maintaining the integrity and accuracy of financial information.
• Drive continuous improvements in financial systems, reporting methodologies, and analytical frameworks to optimize financial performance.
• Engage with stakeholders across functions and levels to facilitate effective communication of financial data, challenges, and opportunities.
