Description
Global Ehsan Relief, a humanitarian organization dedicated to supporting vulnerable communities across Pakistan, seeks a talented and dedicated Videographer & Content Creator. This role focuses on capturing and crafting compelling visual stories that highlight the impact of our programs in water, livelihoods, shelter, education, orphan care, and emergency response. The ideal candidate possesses strong video production skills and storytelling ability with a commitment to ethical content creation. This position requires frequent travel to diverse and sometimes challenging locations to document real-life stories and present them through engaging video content for donors, social media, and campaign materials. The candidate will work closely with program and communications teams to conceptualize, shoot, and edit videos that portray the lives and experiences of beneficiaries. Responsibilities include managing filming equipment, producing short-form content for social media channels, and maintaining a well-organized media archive. A professional approach to video editing using industry-standard software and an understanding of social media platforms is essential. Prior experience in a similar role within an NGO or development environment is advantageous, along with excellent communication skills in Urdu and additional local languages.
Responsibilities
- Develop creative concepts, plan, and shoot high-quality video content including humanitarian stories, beneficiary testimonials, project documentation, and promotional videos.
- Edit video footage and photographs to professional standards suitable for social media, donor reports, campaigns, and presentations.
- Travel regularly to project locations, including rural and disaster-affected areas, to capture authentic field content demonstrating program impact.
- Manage filming equipment and setups, ensuring all gear is well-maintained and ready for use in various environments.
- Organize and maintain a comprehensive and accessible archive of all media assets for ease of retrieval and future use.
- Collaborate with program and communications teams to brainstorm and develop engaging content ideas and multimedia campaign materials.
- Adhere to ethical storytelling and safeguarding guidelines, obtaining informed consent and protecting privacy and dignity, especially when filming vulnerable populations such as children and women.
- Create short-form video content tailored for platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube to maximize audience engagement.
