Electrician (Diploma Holder)

Global Engineering Services is seeking a skilled Electrician (Diploma Holder) with at least three years of experience to join our team in Lahore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical wiring, circuit troubleshooting, and installation of electrical systems. This role involves working with industrial electrical systems, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring electrical safety practices are strictly followed. The candidate will be responsible for reading and interpreting electrical blueprints as well as using hand and power tools to complete various maintenance and repair tasks. Managing a small team of one person is also part of the role, requiring leadership skills to coordinate daily activities and ensure quality workmanship. This position requires a resident of Lahore with a diploma qualification in the electrical field and relevant practical experience in industrial settings. The Electrician will play a vital role in maintaining the electrical infrastructure, diagnosing faults, and performing timely repairs to minimize downtime. Attention to detail and adherence to safety standards are critical. The Electrician must be capable of installing and setting up circuit breakers, conducting wiring and rewiring tasks, and maintaining the integrity of electrical systems throughout their lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to safety codes and regulations.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, technical diagrams, and manufacturers’ instructions to perform tasks accurately.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults in wiring, circuits, and equipment using appropriate diagnostic tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal functionality and minimize downtime.
• Supervise and guide a small team of one person, providing technical support and ensuring safety compliance.
• Set up and install circuit breakers, switches, and other electrical components as required.
• Use hand and power tools effectively and safely to complete installation and repair work.
• Coordinate with management and other departments to schedule maintenance and minimize disruption.
• Document work performed and communicate findings and recommendations to the relevant teams.
• Follow electrical safety practices rigorously to protect personnel and property from electrical hazards.
• Ensure timely completion of all electrical maintenance and repair assignments in industrial environments.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, and store tools and materials properly.
