Description
Global Health Care is seeking skilled Service Engineers to join our dynamic team responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing medical and diagnostic equipment. As a vital member of our field service division, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues directly at customer sites, and ensure the reliable operation of laboratory diagnostic instruments. The role requires hands-on technical expertise, a strong commitment to maintaining equipment performance, and delivering high-quality customer service. Candidates must have a background in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical, Electronics, or related fields, with at least three years of experience in field service, especially in medical or diagnostic equipment. This position involves extensive travel within the assigned region to provide onsite support and training. Service Engineers play a critical role in enhancing healthcare delivery by ensuring medical devices function accurately and efficiently. In this role, you prepare detailed service reports, conduct equipment inspections and performance tests, and provide product demonstrations along with end-user training to healthcare professionals. Through your technical proficiency and clear communication, you contribute to high customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of essential medical diagnostics technology. Although this role does not involve managing a team, it requires excellent self-management skills and the ability to work independently under varying field conditions.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair medical and diagnostic equipment at various customer locations following strict safety standards.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment operates at optimal performance levels.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to laboratory diagnostic instruments efficiently and accurately.
- Conduct thorough inspections and performance testing of equipment to verify proper functionality and compliance standards.
- Provide comprehensive product demonstrations and end-user training to healthcare personnel to enhance user proficiency.
- Prepare detailed and accurate service reports documenting all maintenance, repair, and training activities for record keeping and future reference.
- Collaborate closely with customers to understand their equipment issues, provide effective solutions, and build strong service relationships.
- Lead and manage a team of five service engineers, coordinating schedules, sharing technical knowledge, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Manage onsite service calls independently, prioritize customer needs, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Maintain a professional demeanor to uphold excellent customer service standards and achieve high satisfaction ratings.
- Adhere strictly to safety procedures and protocols during all equipment handling, repairs, and training sessions.
- Travel extensively within the assigned region to provide prompt, on-site field services and technical support.
- Stay informed and updated on the latest advancements in medical and diagnostic technologies to enhance service effectiveness.
