Green Earth Solutions is seeking a motivated Machine Learning Engineer to join their innovative team. This role focuses on developing and deploying machine learning models, particularly in computer vision, to solve real-world environmental challenges. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and has 1 to 2 years of practical experience with ML frameworks, Python programming, and image processing. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to deploy machine learning models successfully in production settings and have a keen interest in contributing to green technologies. As this role does not involve managing a team, the focus remains on individual contributions, hands-on model development, and collaboration with cross-functional groups. The candidate must be prepared for frequent travel, including overnight trips, to support deployment and project initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply machine learning expertise in impactful environmental solutions, contributing to both organizational goals and sustainability efforts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize machine learning models focusing on computer vision tasks such as image processing and object detection.

• Write efficient and maintainable Python code implementing deep learning algorithms and frameworks.

• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to preprocess datasets, conduct experiments, and iterate on models.

• Deploy machine learning models into production environments ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

• Maintain and manage version control for codebases using standard tools like Git.

• Operate within Linux environments for development and deployment processes.

• Monitor model performance post-deployment and implement updates or adjustments as needed.

• Document model development processes, challenges, and outcomes for knowledge sharing.

• Participate in project planning and provide technical input to align machine learning strategies with company objectives.

• Travel as required to support installation, deployment, and collaboration efforts across project sites.
