Grnd is seeking a skilled Barista with a minimum of one year of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a strong knowledge of espresso preparation and the art of coffee making. This role requires proficiency in operating coffee machines, frothing and steaming milk, and maintaining food safety and sanitation standards. The Barista will ensure customers receive high-quality beverages and exceptional service in a fast-paced environment while maintaining order accuracy and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

Prepare espresso and other coffee beverages using established recipes and techniques to ensure quality and consistency.

Effectively operate coffee machines, including espresso and steaming equipment, maintaining all equipment in good working condition.

Froth and steam milk to precise temperatures and textures for various coffee drinks, ensuring excellent presentation and taste.

Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene by following food safety and sanitation protocols in all areas of work.

Accurately take and fulfill customer orders, ensuring order accuracy and efficiency to provide an outstanding customer experience.

Manage inventory of coffee beans, milk, and other supplies, reporting stock needs to ensure uninterrupted service.

Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner to create a welcoming environment and promote repeat business.

Assist in training new baristas on coffee preparation techniques and best practices, maintaining consistency across shifts.

Adhere to all company policies and procedures, contributing to a collaborative team environment even without direct team management responsibilities.

Continually update skills and knowledge related to coffee preparation, new trends, and equipment to enhance the customer experience.
