Description

GSF Services SMC PVT LTD is seeking a dedicated Goods Declaration Executive to handle customs declaration preparations and ensure compliance with import and export regulations. The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience in the relevant industry and possesses strong knowledge of customs clearance procedures and trade documentation. This role requires effective coordination with freight forwarders and customs brokers and familiarity with Global Trade Management (GTM) software. The position involves working Monday to Saturday from 12 PM to 10 PM and requires reliable commuting to II Chundrigar Road, Karachi. Candidates must demonstrate good communication skills in English, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to long-term employment. As a Goods Declaration Executive, the individual will be responsible for accurately classifying goods using HS codes, preparing customs declarations, and ensuring all documents meet customs compliance standards. The role demands meticulous attention to detail to facilitate timely customs clearance and minimize delays or penalties. Although this position does not involve managing a team, the successful candidate must collaborate efficiently with internal and external stakeholders to support smooth import and export activities. This job offers a salary range of 60,000 to 70,000 PKR and provides an excellent opportunity for growth within the company.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit accurate customs declarations in compliance with import and export regulations.
• Classify goods using the Harmonized System (HS) codes to ensure correct tariff application.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs clearance procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all trade documentation is complete and accurate to facilitate customs processing.
• Coordinate effectively with freight forwarders and customs brokers to resolve shipment issues and expedite clearance.
• Utilize Global Trade Management (GTM) software to manage declarations and monitor shipment status.
• Monitor custom compliance continuously to avoid delays, fines, or penalties during clearance.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders to support smooth logistics operations.
• Adhere to company policies and legal standards related to customs and international trade practices.
• Commit to ongoing learning and professional development to stay updated with industry changes.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive trade data.
• Manage workloads efficiently within assigned working hours and meet deadlines consistently.
