GTV News HD seeks experienced News Monitoring Officers to track, aggregate, and analyze news content effectively. The ideal candidates possess strong skills in Urdu reading and writing, combined with a keen sense for news. They must exhibit proficiency in basic computer applications and fast typing to handle news data efficiently. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to monitor multiple news sources consistently to provide up-to-date and relevant news information. Candidates should have at least twelve years of experience and hold an intermediate or bachelor degree. News Monitoring Officers play a critical role in supporting the editorial and production teams by providing timely and accurate news updates. They scrutinize news stories, verify information, and maintain news databases while ensuring the quality and relevance of collected data. Although this position does not involve team management, it requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines. Officers collaborate across departments to ensure comprehensive news coverage and contribute to the company's overall mission of delivering credible news content.
Responsibilities
- Track and aggregate news articles and broadcasts from multiple sources, focusing on Urdu-language content.
- Read and write in Urdu fluently to interpret and summarize news reports accurately.

- Use basic computer skills and Microsoft Excel to log and analyze news data quickly and efficiently.

- Monitor news developments continuously to provide real-time updates to editorial staff.
- Verify the authenticity and reliability of news sources and content before reporting.
- Prepare detailed news summaries and reports for editorial and management use.
- Collaborate with editorial teams to support content production and news dissemination.
- Adapt to changes in news priorities and workflows while maintaining high-quality standards.
