Description
Haier is seeking a dedicated Manager Quality - M1 for their Washing Machine division to lead quality assurance and control efforts. This role requires overseeing a team of 50 professionals to ensure adherence to quality standards and continuous improvement in product manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or Quality Management and brings 8 to 10 years of experience in quality assurance within manufacturing environments. They must demonstrate strong proficiency in ISO standards including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, alongside expertise in root cause analysis and quality improvement methodologies. In this leadership position, you will drive the establishment and maintenance of quality management systems across production lines, manage supplier quality, and ensure compliance with both internal and external regulatory standards. You will apply your skills in manufacturing process auditing and corrective/preventive action management to identify areas for improvement and systematically address non-conformities. This role demands a proactive leader skilled in guiding a large team and fostering a culture focused on quality excellence, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a quality team of 50 personnel, ensuring effective distribution of tasks and fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems compliant with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
- Conduct regular manufacturing process audits to assess compliance with quality standards and identify opportunities for process optimization.
- Manage supplier quality performance by establishing and enforcing stringent supplier quality requirements and controls.
- Oversee root cause analysis and 8D problem-solving efforts to resolve quality issues promptly and prevent recurrence.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address non-conformities and improve overall product quality.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and supply chain to support quality objectives and resolve quality-related challenges.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives such as Kaizen events to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce defects.
- Monitor key quality metrics and generate reports to inform senior management and support data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure all quality assurance activities align with customer expectations, industry regulations, and internal company policies.
