Hamdard Pakistan is seeking a highly skilled Senior Blow Molding Operator to join the production team in Karachi. The ideal candidate holds a DAE in Mechanical, a Diploma in Plastic Technology, or a relevant technical certification, and possesses at least 7 to 8 years of hands-on experience in blow molding operations. This role requires expertise in operating, setting up, troubleshooting, and maintaining blow molding machines to ensure efficient production and high product quality. The successful candidate will lead a small team and uphold safety and quality standards in all activities. In this role, the Senior Blow Molding Operator manages the entire blow molding process, including machine setup, monitoring, and routine maintenance. They are responsible for minimizing downtime by swiftly identifying and resolving technical issues and systematically maintaining production records. The position demands technical proficiency and leadership to guide and support a team member effectively. Commitment to meeting production targets while adhering to safety protocols is essential to succeed in this critical manufacturing role.
Responsibilities
- Operate blow molding machines efficiently to produce high-quality plastic products.
- Set up blow molding machines according to production specifications and requirements.
- Monitor machine performance continuously and make necessary adjustments to maintain optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues to minimize machine downtime and ensure continuous production.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of blow molding machines to prevent breakdowns.
- Maintain accurate production records, including machine performance, output, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies in the production area.
- Lead, supervise, and support a team member, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Collaborate with quality control to ensure that all products meet required specifications.
- Implement improvements to the blow molding process to increase efficiency and production quality.
- Assist in material handling and storage as necessary to support production operations.
