VNA Operator

Description

Hamdard Pakistan is seeking a skilled VNA Operator with a strong background in forklift operation and extensive experience in VNA systems to join our team. The ideal candidate holds relevant educational qualifications such as Matric, DAE, B-Tech Mechanical, or similar certifications related to mechanical and chemical engineering. This role demands a professional with a minimum of five years of relevant industry experience and a valid C Class Boiler certification. The VNA Operator will be responsible for the accurate and efficient management of very narrow aisle (VNA) warehouse equipment, ensuring the safe handling and proper storage of materials. This position requires proficiency in operating specialized VNA forklifts and equipment, adhering to safety standards, and optimizing warehouse storage operations. The candidate should demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills suitable for the handling of warehouse inventory in a dynamic environment. While this role does not involve managing a team, the VNA Operator will coordinate and communicate effectively with other operational staff to maintain productivity and safety standards within the warehouse facility.

Responsibilities

• Operate VNA forklifts and warehouse equipment safely and efficiently to facilitate the movement and storage of materials within narrow aisle warehouse environments.
• Perform routine checks and maintenance on VNA equipment to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
• Load and unload materials with precision to prevent damage and maintain optimal warehouse organization.
• Follow all company safety protocols and government regulations related to forklift operation and warehouse safety.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and report any discrepancies or equipment malfunctions promptly.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimize storage space and ensure timely handling of goods.
• Identify potential hazards and suggest improvements to enhance safety and efficiency within VNA operations.
• Ensure compliance with all operational procedures, including documentation and reporting requirements.
• Participate in training and development programs to maintain a high level of technical proficiency and knowledge of updated safety practices.
