Interior Designer

H&M Enterprises is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in interior designing and a strong background in space planning, materials selection, and adherence to building codes and accessibility standards. The role involves transforming client ideas into functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces using the latest design software. The Interior Designer will collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met from concept through completion. Working independently without team management responsibility, this role demands excellent project coordination and the ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and timelines. The Interior Designer is responsible for producing detailed drawings and 3D visualizations that effectively communicate design intent. This position requires proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3D rendering tools, as well as solid knowledge of CAD standards and effective layer management. The successful candidate ensures that all designs comply with relevant building regulations, accessibility standards, and client specifications. Your creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail will help optimize space utilization and materials selection to deliver innovative and practical interior environments that support clients’ needs and enhance their experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute interior design concepts in alignment with client requirements and project scope.
• Create detailed drawings, floor plans, and elevations using AutoCAD and SketchUp software.
• Produce high-quality 3D visualizations and renderings to illustrate design proposals effectively.
• Select appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings that meet aesthetic, functional, and budgetary criteria.
• Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and accessibility standards.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Maintain CAD standards and proper layer management for all design files.
• Conduct site visits to review progress, identify potential design issues, and consult with clients and contractors.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
• Present and communicate design concepts clearly to clients, incorporating their feedback into revised designs.
• Prepare documentation and specifications required for procurement and construction phases.
• Stay updated with industry trends, new materials, and design technologies to innovate interior solutions.
