H&M Enterprises is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate possesses a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles and practical skills in design, analysis, and manufacturing processes. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will contribute to product development by creating detailed designs, performing thermal and fluid system analyses, and selecting appropriate materials that meet project requirements. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and compliant with quality standards. The opportunity is ideal for someone with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and at least one year of relevant experience, eager to apply technical expertise in a dynamic environment. In this role, you will focus on designing and developing mechanical components and systems utilizing state-of-the-art Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) tools, including SolidWorks and AutoCAD. The position requires strong skills in engineering drawing and detailing, 3D CAD modeling, and knowledge of manufacturing processes and product lifecycle management (PLM). Since this is an individual contributor position without team management responsibilities, the role emphasizes technical proficiency, self-motivation, and collaboration within project teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions that advance the company's goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop mechanical designs and detailed drawings for new and existing products using CAD and CAE tools.
- Conduct thermal and fluid systems analysis to evaluate design performance and optimize product efficiency.
- Select appropriate materials based on mechanical properties, cost, and application suitability.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and support production planning.
- Utilize product development and lifecycle management (PLM) systems to track design revisions and documentation.
- Perform 3D CAD modeling and create precise engineering drawings and specifications for fabrication.
- Analyze manufacturing processes to improve product quality and reduce costs.
- Maintain compliance with engineering standards, industry regulations, and safety protocols.
- Support prototype development and testing by providing technical guidance and troubleshooting.
- Participate in design reviews and coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams to address design challenges.
- Stay current with emerging mechanical engineering technologies and industry best practices.
