HMI Savers is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Government Bid & Tender Specialist to manage bidding processes for US federal and Canadian government contracts. This remote independent contractor role requires at least one year of hands-on experience in preparing and submitting bids on platforms such as SAM.gov and CanadaBuys. The specialist plays a critical role in navigating government procurement protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks like RFQs, RFPs, NAICS/PSC codes, and Buy American / Trade Agreements Act (TAA) rules. - Coordinate with US suppliers to source products and build accurate price sheets that align with government procurement requirements.
- Maintain clear, professional communication with government buyers and suppliers to clarify bid details and requirements.
- Document and submit bids according to government deadlines and ensuring adherence to all specifications and compliance standards.
- Continuously monitor updates in government procurement procedures and regulatory changes to inform bidding strategies.
- Provide detailed examples of past successful bids and analyze bid outcomes to improve future submissions.
