We are a small, established WordPress agency looking for a reliable mid-level developer to join us on a long-running, complex client project.
What you’ll do
- Work closely with our senior developer to understand and maintain a mature, custom WordPress site and more ongoing projects.
- Take ownership of features, fixes, and improvements over time.
- Communicate clearly with the internal team and with the client.
What we’re looking for
- Based in Lahore
- 3–4 years of solid WordPress experience (custom themes, plugins, ACF, performance, debugging)
- Strong English communication skills (written + spoken) — you’ll interact with non-technical people
- Reliable, career-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership
- Good at asking questions, documenting, and working in a small remote/hybrid team

Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with senior developers to maintain and enhance custom WordPress websites.
- Take full ownership of assigned features, troubleshooting, and improvements to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Configure, customize, and optimize WordPress themes and plugins including use of advanced custom fields (ACF).
- Develop and customize WordPress themes using PHP, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Work with visual page builder tools like Elementor and Divi to implement design requirements effectively.
- Conduct performance optimization and debugging to improve website efficiency and user experience.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with internal team members and sometimes with clients to gather requirements and provide updates.
- Document code, processes, and project workflows thoroughly to ensure smooth knowledge transfer and reduce dependency on single individuals.
- Engage actively in code reviews and follow best practices for maintaining high-quality code.
- Participate in project planning and contribute technical insights to improve overall project development.
- Maintain a reliable and organized workflow in a remote/hybrid work environment.
- Stay current with WordPress trends, technologies, and security best practices to ensure the project remains up-to-date and secure.
