Warehouse Inventory Officer

Description

HQ Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Inventory Officer to oversee the management and accuracy of inventory operations within our warehouse. This role involves supervising a team of two personnel to effectively handle inventory control, order fulfillment, stock auditing, and data management. The ideal candidate ensures that all warehouse activities comply with company standards and efficiently support supply chain objectives. As a Warehouse Inventory Officer, you maintain accurate records using Warehouse Management Systems and Order Management Systems to monitor stock levels, organize materials, and support the smooth processing of orders. Strong communication skills are essential to coordinate with internal teams and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies. This role requires a commitment to quality control and operational efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory management processes to ensure accurate tracking, receiving, storage, and dispatching of goods.
• Supervise and guide a team of two warehouse staff to ensure effective material handling and order fulfillment operations.
• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Order Management Systems (OMS) to maintain real-time stock records and ensure data entry accuracy.
• Conduct regular stock audits and quality control checks to verify inventory integrity and compliance with company standards.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to manage inventory levels and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain organized warehouse layouts to optimize space utilization and facilitate quick access to materials.
• Ensure timely processing of orders by managing the flow of goods from receipt through to dispatch.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures to improve warehouse operations and minimize errors.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and team productivity.
• Train and support warehouse staff in proper material handling techniques and use of inventory management software.
