Production Manager - Garments

HRFINEBOXING seeks an experienced Production Manager - Garments to oversee the complete garment production process from cutting to dispatch. The ideal candidate brings at least six years of industry experience and strong expertise in garment production planning and control, manufacturing operations, and supply chain coordination. This role focuses on executing efficient production schedules, ensuring quality control throughout all stages of garment manufacturing, and collaborating closely with materials and purchasing teams to maintain seamless production flow. Although this position does not involve managing a team, the Production Manager will play a critical role in driving operational excellence and meeting bulk order deadlines with precision. The Production Manager maintains strict oversight of production activities by preparing detailed daily and weekly plans covering cutting, stitching, finishing, and packing processes. This role also involves forecasting material requirements to support uninterrupted manufacturing and working proactively with store and purchase departments to ensure timely availability of supplies. By implementing robust quality checks and reducing rework and rejection rates, the Production Manager ensures high standards in product output while generating comprehensive production and quality reports to keep management informed of operational progress.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement daily and weekly production plans for cutting, stitching, finishing, and packing sections to meet order deadlines efficiently.
• Forecast material needs accurately and coordinate with purchasing and store departments to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
• Conduct quality checks at various production stages including cutting quality control, inline inspections, and final quality assessments to minimize defects and returns.
• Monitor production output and quality metrics continuously and prepare detailed reports for management review.
• Optimize production scheduling to improve capacity utilization while maintaining adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with supply chain and materials coordination teams to streamline operations and resolve any bottlenecks during production.
• Implement process improvements aimed at reducing production costs, increasing efficiency, and maintaining high product standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to garment manufacturing and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation to support operational transparency and facilitate audit processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing production data and identifying areas for enhancement.
• Support procurement activities by providing timely forecasts and production status updates to purchasing teams.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials and finished goods to prevent damage and maintain quality.
