Description

HRSG Outsourcing Pvt Ltd seeks a skilled RO Operator EDI Operator for its Waste Water Treatment Plant who possesses comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in water purification and effluent treatment processes. The candidate will operate and monitor both DI (Deionization) and RO (Reverse Osmosis) systems to ensure the consistent production of treated water that meets quality standards. This role involves closely monitoring system parameters such as flow, pressure, conductivity, pH, TDS, and temperature. The operator is also responsible for performing regeneration and cleaning of membranes to maintain optimal system functionality. This role requires proficiency in monitoring effluent treatment plant (ETP) operations to ensure the treatment processes align with environmental standards and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining operational logs and documentation related to water quality, discharges, and chemical handling. They must follow all required safety procedures and effectively use personal protective equipment while managing chemicals and reporting any incidents promptly. The role demands vigilance in equipment maintenance, including routine inspections and preventive maintenance on pumps, valves, blowers, and instruments to avoid system downtimes. This position is suitable for a candidate with at least three years of relevant experience who is committed to regulatory compliance, system integrity, and safety. Since this role does not involve managing a team, the focus is purely on individual operational excellence and technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the DI and RO water purification systems to ensure high-quality treated water output.
• Regularly measure and record flow rates, pressure levels, conductivity, pH, total dissolved solids (TDS), and temperature to maintain system efficiency.
• Perform membrane regeneration and thorough cleaning to preserve RO system functionality and prolong membrane life.
• Manage effluent treatment plant processes by monitoring critical parameters such as pH, chemical oxygen demand (COD), biological oxygen demand (BOD), and total suspended solids (TSS).
• Ensure all wastewater treatment activities comply with environmental regulations and company policies to meet statutory standards.
• Conduct routine inspections of pumps, valves, blowers, and measurement instruments to identify and resolve any operational issues proactively.
• Carry out preventive maintenance tasks and troubleshoot equipment failures to minimize interruptions in plant operations.
• Maintain detailed operational logs, compliance records, and reports related to system performance and water quality.
• Follow stringent safety procedures at all times, utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and safely handling all process chemicals.
• Promptly report any safety incidents or irregularities to the appropriate authorities according to company protocols.
• Collaborate with other departments as necessary to ensure seamless operation and compliance across water treatment and waste management activities.
• Stay updated on new technologies and regulatory changes in wastewater treatment to recommend improvements to current processes.
