Hybrid Trucking seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Usa Truck Dispatcher to manage freight movement coordination, driver communication, and load planning. This role involves finding profitable loads, negotiating rates, optimizing routes, and ensuring timely delivery of goods across the United States. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintains strong organizational skills, and has a solid understanding of the U.S. trucking industry and relevant regulations. The position demands effective communication with drivers and brokers and requires the ability to handle multiple tasks independently. In this role, the dispatcher is responsible for overseeing shipment progress from pickup to delivery, maintaining accurate records, and resolving delivery challenges promptly. Although team management is not part of this position, the successful candidate must build strong relationships with freight brokers and customers, ensuring compliance with DOT and FMCSA standards. This role offers a competitive base salary with additional performance-based commission incentives.

Responsibilities

• Find and book profitable loads for company drivers by utilizing load boards and industry contacts.
• Negotiate freight rates effectively with brokers and shippers to maximize company profitability.
• Plan and optimize driver routes to ensure efficiency and timely delivery of freight.
• Dispatch drivers and monitor shipment progress from origin to destination, ensuring all steps adhere to schedule.
• Maintain constant communication with drivers to provide updates, manage schedules, and address any issues.
• Identify and resolve delivery problems promptly to minimize disruptions and delays.
• Prepare and maintain accurate dispatch records and load documentation including Bills of Lading and Proofs of Delivery.
• Develop and sustain strong business relationships with freight brokers, shippers, and customers.
• Ensure all dispatch operations comply with Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations.
• Track and evaluate driver performance and delivery timelines to ensure service quality and operational excellence.
• Coordinate and manage necessary paperwork associated with freight movements and deliveries.
• Utilize dispatch software and basic computer skills to manage logistics effectively and maintain electronic records.
