Im Human is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier with at least four years of experience to join our team. The Cashier plays a crucial role in processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This position requires proficiency in cash handling and operation of Point of Sale (POS) systems, ensuring smooth and error-free sales processes. The ideal candidate must be attentive, trustworthy, and capable of maintaining a friendly demeanor during busy periods. Although team management is not part of this role, collaboration with other staff is essential to maintain overall store performance. The Cashier at Im Human is responsible for managing daily transactions, resolving customer inquiries related to payments, and maintaining accurate cash drawer balances. The role demands consistency in following company policies regarding payment procedures and customer interactions. This position also provides an opportunity to enhance customer satisfaction by delivering quick and courteous service. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to varying customer needs while maintaining professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Process customer payments accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system, handling cash, credit, and debit transactions.
• Count cash in the register at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure accuracy.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, responding to inquiries, and assisting with payment-related concerns.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area to ensure an inviting environment.
• Verify prices and ensure that scanning or manual entry of items into the POS system is accurate.
• Handle returns and exchanges according to company policies while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Report and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to cash handling or POS operations promptly.
• Collaborate closely with store staff to support overall store operations and ensure smooth customer flow.
• Adhere to company policies and legal requirements regarding cash handling and transaction security.
• Assist in training new cashiers by sharing best practices and operational procedures as needed.
