Description
Infens Technologies is seeking a skilled SQA Automation Engineer with over six years of experience in software quality assurance and testing. The ideal candidate holds at least a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, with a preference for a master's degree. This role demands a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), combined with practical expertise in both manual and automated testing. The individual will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using advanced test automation frameworks to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. The SQA Automation Engineer at Infens Technologies will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to create comprehensive test plans and validate software functionalities through various testing techniques including functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing. Familiarity with defect tracking tools, continuous integration/delivery pipelines, and version control systems is essential. This position requires strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and the ability to work effectively in an Agile environment without managing a team.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans that cover functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing based on project requirements.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman to validate backend services and integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers and product managers to identify test requirements and ensure clear communication of testing results and defects.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues promptly using defect tracking tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Apply strong understanding of SDLC and STLC processes to improve testing procedures and schedules.
- Develop scripting and automation solutions using languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, or C# to increase test coverage and efficiency.
- Integrate automated testing into continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to support smooth deployment cycles.
- Manage test data creation and maintenance to support various test scenarios and automation needs.
- Conduct performance testing and agile testing practices to ensure software meets performance benchmarks and is compatible with agile workflows.
- Keep up to date with the latest trends in test automation tools and best practices to continuously improve testing strategies.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in automation scripts and testing environments to ensure reliable test executions.
- Provide regular status updates and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders on testing progress and challenges.
