The Institute of Regenerative Medicine (IRM) is seeking a dedicated MCPS Family Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients. This role focuses on delivering high-quality primary care through patient consultation, accurate diagnosis, and effective treatment planning. The ideal candidate holds an MBBS degree from a PMDC-recognized institution, possesses an MCPS in Family Medicine, and maintains a valid PMDC registration. With at least two years of relevant experience in Family Medicine or General Practice, the candidate demonstrates strong clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills. This position involves managing a team of six healthcare professionals, ensuring collaborative and efficient patient care within the practice. The Family Medicine Physician plays a critical role in promoting health education, patient counseling, and maintaining thorough clinical documentation using Electronic Health Records (EHR). The physician will support clinical documentation improvement (CDI) initiatives to enhance the accuracy and quality of healthcare records. The role demands a compassionate approach toward patient history taking and personalized care strategies, adhering to evidence-based medical practices. This leadership position requires a professional capable of integrating clinical expertise with effective team management to optimize patient outcomes and foster a supportive healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient consultations and perform comprehensive physical examinations.
- Gather detailed patient histories to inform accurate diagnoses and treatment decisions.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Provide clear and empathetic health education and counseling to patients and their families.
- Ensure precise and complete documentation using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Lead clinical documentation improvement (CDI) efforts to enhance record quality and compliance.
- Prescribe medications and recommend therapeutic interventions based on current clinical guidelines.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and optimize health outcomes.
- Supervise, mentor, and manage a team of six healthcare professionals, fostering a cohesive and efficient work environment.
- Stay current with advances in family medicine and apply evidence-based practices in daily clinical activities.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to achieve optimal health results.
- Ensure compliance with professional regulatory requirements and maintain valid PMDC registration.
- Participate in quality improvement programs and contribute to the development of clinical protocols.
- Handle emergency cases and provide immediate medical attention when necessary.
