Five UC Field Coordinators; works jointly with the District Coordinator, Keamari Immunization Project

Duration

9 months, full-time (November 2026 – 31 July 2027)

Responsibilities

        Purpose

• To lead the newborn-safe delivery -early immunization focused stream of the pilot at district level, ensuring that births notified by community-based providers in the five pilot UCs are followed up, vaccinated, registered, and closed through one shared pathway with the Keamari Immunization Project.

  Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage district-level implementation across the five pilot Union Councils.

• Coordinate mapping, verification, and orientation of TBAs, CMWs, and informal private maternity providers.

• Supervise the five UC Field Coordinators and review their performance.

• Maintain, jointly with the Keamari District Coordinator, one shared district newborn action tracker.

• Monitor notification timeliness, referral completion, vaccination, registration, and case closure.

• Review delayed and unresolved cases and escalate to District EPI / District Health Office.

• Conduct joint supportive supervision visits and participate in biweekly and monthly district reviews.

• Conduct weekly progress meetings with UC level supervisors

• Support development and update of UC improvement plans based on the progress review

• Coordinate with district health office and district Epi teams

• Consolidate UC reports into monthly district implementation summaries.

• Document implementation learning and recommendations for scale-up.

• Develop monthly project progress reports for stakeholders’ dissemination

• Record meeting minutes in each review/coordination meeting 

  Qualifications and Experience

• Master's degree in Public Health (MPH) & MBBS, at least three years of relevant experience.

• Related experience in Maternal Neonatal and Child Health (MNCH) and immunization programs.

• 3–5 years' relevant experience, including supervision of field teams and coordination with government health structures.

• Advanced MS Office skills for data management, tracking, and reporting.

  Fluency in Urdu and working proficiency in English; willingness to travel within District Keamari.
