Islamic Relief Pakistan is seeking a Finance Intern to support the finance team with essential financial tasks and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic nonprofit environment. This internship is designed for fresh graduates from recognized Higher Education Commission (HEC) universities . The Finance Intern will work on financial statement analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis, helping to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting. 

Responsibilities

• Basic understanding on different types of payment processed
• Organizing Finance vouchers ensuring correctness and completeness
• Scanning Finance Vouchers and uploading to share drive
• Learning Excel workings sheets used in finance
• Basic understanding on Income and Sales Tax
• Learning Internet banking and tools used for corporate banking
• Payroll, Gratuity, Final Settlements process
• Staff expenses/claims like Perdiem, Medical, Overtime
• Petty cash expenses and re-imbursement process
• Person Specification: It is essential that the post holder shows a good understanding and sympathy with the organizational values & principles, vision and mission as well as commitment to its PSEAH (preventing sexual exploitation abuse and harassment) protocols. The organization has a zero-tolerance policy towards PSEAH and doesn’t support any action that promotes or encourages PSEAH.
• Qualification: Bachelors/Master’s degree in Business Administration/Commerce (Finance, Accounts)/ACCA/CA or related field
• Experience: Fresh - Less than 1 Year (Fresh graduates from HEC recognized universities will be given preference)
