Jersey Precast is seeking an experienced Structural CAD Operator and BIM Modeler for precast concrete and structural detailing projects. The ideal candidate should be experienced in  
Requirements:
1. Structural CAD Drafting
•    Strong experience in structural rebar detailing
•    Experience with precast concrete and RCC structural components
•    Ability to prepare and understand Bar Bending Schedules (BBS)
•    Ability to prepare detailed drawings for bridge decks, precast elements, marine structures, pile caps, box beams, and related components
•    Proficiency in AutoCAD
•    Ability to understand structural drawings and coordinate details independently
2. BIM Modeling – Revit
•    Strong working knowledge of Revit
•    Experience in structural or precast modeling and detailing
•    Ability to work from structural drawings and develop coordinated BIM models
3. BIM Modeling – Tekla
•    Strong working knowledge of Tekla Structures
•    Experience in structural and/or precast concrete modeling
•    Ability to develop accurate 3D models and detailed drawings
Experience: 
•    At least 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in structural CAD drafting and BIM modeling, preferably on precast concrete projects.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed structural CAD drawings for precast concrete and RCC components including bridge decks, marine structures, pile caps, and box beams using AutoCAD.
• Prepare and develop accurate structural rebar detailing and Bar Bending Schedules to support construction requirements.
• Develop coordinated BIM models utilizing Revit for structural and precast concrete elements, ensuring alignment with structural drawings.
• Use Tekla Structures to build precise 3D models and generate detailed drawings that reflect design specifications and construction needs.
• Read, interpret, and verify structural drawings independently to maintain accuracy and consistency across all project documentation.
• Coordinate BIM models to ensure accuracy and clash-free designs in collaboration with project engineers and architects.
• Apply expertise in structural and precast concrete modeling to enhance the design and detailing process throughout project phases.
• Maintain a proactive and solution-oriented approach to address technical issues, supporting timely project delivery.
• Stay organized and manage workload effectively to meet deadlines and produce high-quality outputs consistently.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contributing positively to group dynamics and workflow efficiency.
• Continuously learn and update skills related to CAD drafting and BIM modeling technologies and industry best practices.
• Participate in technical assessments to validate knowledge and demonstrate proficiency in relevant design tools and methodologies.
