Kabir Traders seeks an experienced Accountant to manage and oversee financial activities. The ideal candidate has at least ten years of experience in accounting, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and supporting decision-making processes to contribute to the company’s financial health and efficiency. The candidate must be detail-oriented and capable of handling complex financial transactions with integrity and accuracy. The Accountant at Kabir Traders is responsible for maintaining precise financial records, preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports that summarize current financial position. Although this role does not involve managing a team, the accountant will coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial information flow. The role demands strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial software to streamline accounting processes and support organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain general ledger activities.
• Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies to ensure financial accuracy.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
• Coordinate with departments to collect and verify financial information.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing accurate financial inputs.
• Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure timely submission of financial reports.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and calculate depreciation.
• Implement and improve accounting processes and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits to provide necessary documentation and explanations.
