Description
KBK Electronics Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team and lead a small group of five professionals. As an Electrical Engineer at our company, you will play a vital role in designing, testing, and commissioning electrical power systems and equipment. This position demands a strong foundation in power systems, embedded systems, AC machines and drives, and power equipment. The successful candidate will have experience interpreting complex technical specifications, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings, ensuring that projects comply with relevant standards and requirements. Additionally, the ability to effectively communicate and lead technical discussions with customers and team members is essential for success in this role. In this role, you will manage the engineering team, guiding and supporting them to achieve project goals. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the implementation of power distribution solutions, conducting system analysis, and troubleshooting technical issues. Familiarity with utility standards, metering systems, communication technologies, and distribution networks will provide a significant advantage, enabling you to contribute effectively to project design and execution. Your expertise will also extend to preparing detailed technical documentation and presentations that facilitate clear communication with internal teams and clients alike.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Review tender documents, technical specifications, and customer requirements.
- Prepare technical proposals, compliance statements, and bid documentation.
- Develop system architectures and technical solutions for Smart Metering and AMI projects.
- Provide technical support during project execution, installation, commissioning, and customer acceptance.
- Coordinate with utilities, consultants, vendors, and project teams on technical matters.
- Conduct technical evaluations of equipment, drawings, and engineering documents.
- Support prototype approvals, type testing, and product certifications.
- Prepare technical presentations, reports, method statements, and project documentation.
- Supervise and provide technical guidance to field engineers and installation teams.
- Assist in troubleshooting complex technical issues encountered during project implementation.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, utility standards, and regulatory requirements.
