Responsibilities
- Prepare, organize, and deliver computer lab sessions in alignment with curriculum goals and educational standards.
- Manage computer lab resources, ensuring all equipment and software are functional and accessible for students during practical sessions.
- Teach and demonstrate practical skills related to computer applications, including the proficient use of MS Office suite.
- Develop and implement student assessment strategies to evaluate progress and comprehension effectively.
- Provide timely feedback and support to students to enhance their learning experience and skill acquisition.
- Maintain discipline and foster a conducive environment for learning through effective classroom management techniques.
- Collaborate with academic staff to update and improve lab exercises and ensure alignment with evolving curriculum requirements.
- Document and report on lab session attendance, student performance, and equipment status regularly.
- Assist in the maintenance of computer lab infrastructure, coordinating with technical support when necessary.
- Stay informed about current trends and developments in computer applications and educational practices to enhance teaching methods.
- Support students individually or in groups to overcome specific challenges or difficulties during lab exercises.
- Uphold safety protocols and standards within the computer lab to protect both students and equipment.
- Engage in professional development opportunities to refine instructional and technical skills suitable for the role.
