Description
Kips Css is seeking an English Counselor with a minimum of two years of relevant experience to join our team. The ideal candidate supports students in improving their English language skills, provides guidance on effective learning techniques, and encourages academic growth. This role requires excellent communication abilities and a passion for helping others achieve linguistic proficiency. The English Counselor works directly with individual students to assess their needs, develop personalized learning plans, and monitor progress over time to ensure continuous improvement. The English Counselor does not manage a team but collaborates closely with other educators and administrative staff to deliver comprehensive language support. This position involves conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, organizing group workshops, and delivering tailored advice on grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. The counselor plays a vital role in fostering a positive and supportive learning environment, empowering students to build confidence and succeed academically.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one counseling sessions to help students improve their English language skills.
- Assess students’ proficiency levels and identify areas for development.
- Develop personalized learning plans based on individual student needs and goals.
- Deliver group workshops focused on key English language components, including grammar, vocabulary, writing, reading, listening, and speaking.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress regularly, adjusting counseling strategies as needed.
- Offer motivational support to encourage consistent practice and academic growth.
- Collaborate with educators and administrative staff to align counseling services with curricular goals.
- Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions, student progress, and follow-up activities.
- Stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies and language learning trends to enhance counseling quality.
- Create a welcoming and supportive environment that promotes student confidence and engagement in English learning.
