Store Officer & Store Keeper (Construction Site)

Description

Kohistan Group is seeking a dedicated Store Officer & Store Keeper to oversee and manage inventory and materials at our construction site. This role focuses on maintaining accurate stock levels, facilitating the receipt and inspection of construction materials, and ensuring timely procurement and replenishment to support ongoing projects. The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience in inventory management and understands the unique demands of construction materials and supply chain processes. This position does not entail managing a team but demands strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain smooth site operations. The Store Officer & Store Keeper works closely with suppliers, procurement teams, and site managers to forecast material demand and manage the complete purchase order lifecycle. This role requires precise monitoring of stock to minimize delays, prevent shortages, and reduce excess inventory. The successful applicant must be disciplined in documenting stock movements and efficient in coordinating with various departments to support construction activities effectively and ensure compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Job Description:
• To maintain the record of material receipts, issuance and stock.
• To generate PRs (Purchase Requisitions), prepare GRNs (Good Receive Notes).
• Responsible for the stacking, coding and binning of main store material and maintain its record.
• Responsible for all kinds of documentation related to the department, approvals and maintain the record.
• Examine the levels of inventory to determine the shortage and raise the demands to maintain the stock levels as per requirements.
• To keep close coordination with procurement for the purchase of required material.
• To process the return of defective items.
• Receives store deliveries, maintain and update the records and report the variances (if any).
