Kort is seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of experience and will be responsible for safely transporting goods and passengers to various destinations. This role requires excellent communication skills to ensure a positive customer experience and adherence to all traffic regulations. As a Driver at Kort, you will also manage a team of 15 persons, coordinating schedules and ensuring that all drivers meet performance and safety standards. In addition to driving responsibilities, the Drivers in our company play a crucial role in maintaining vehicle conditions and providing outstanding customer service. This position demands a detail-oriented individual who can handle multiple tasks efficiently while ensuring timely and secure deliveries. Your leadership will help create a cohesive and productive team, supporting Kort’s commitment to excellence in service and safety.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and passengers as assigned.
- Manage and lead a team of 15 drivers, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety protocols.
- Coordinate daily routes and schedules to maximize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, routes, and working hours.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving any concerns effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all road safety laws and company policies.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and management about route progress, delays, or issues.
- Train new drivers on company procedures and safe driving practices.
- Monitor team performance and provide feedback or coaching to improve skills and efficiency.
- Assist in developing strategies to enhance route planning and reduce operational costs.
- Handle emergency situations calmly and effectively to ensure safety for all passengers and goods.
