Description
Land Connect Group is seeking an Accounts and Finance Executive with at least one year of experience to manage comprehensive financial operations and support the company's accounting framework. The successful candidate will maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with legal standards and company policies. This role does not involve managing a team but requires close collaboration with various departments to facilitate smooth financial transactions and reporting. The Accounts and Finance Executive handles daily financial transactions including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements. Using tools such as Microsoft Excel and ERP software like SAP or Oracle Financials, the candidate will analyze financial data and assist in internal audits and control processes. Attention to detail and a strong understanding of accounting principles are essential to ensure accuracy and integrity in all financial activities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and collect daily dispatched cargo and vehicle records from on-field personnel for accurate asset and transaction tracking.
- Keep up-to-date and precise records of all daily financial transactions to support accurate accounting and reporting.
- Prepare balance sheets, financial statements, and accounting reports including monthly, quarterly, and annual submissions.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely manner while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Update and maintain internal financial systems with current data to support financial analysis and decision-making.
- Enter customer and account data accurately from source documents within established time limits to preserve data integrity.
- Compile, verify, and sort information to prepare source data for computer entry, ensuring completeness and correctness.
- Review financial data to identify and correct deficiencies or errors, maintaining compatibility with accounting standards.
- Reconcile accounts regularly by comparing general ledger entries and supporting documentation to detect and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage the general ledger by posting journal entries and verifying transactions in accordance with accounting principles and regulations.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and ERP software such as SAP or Oracle Financials to prepare financial reports and analyze financial data efficiently.
- Generate financial reports, securely store completed work, and perform regular backup operations to safeguard financial information.
- Assist with internal control and auditing processes by providing accurate records and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with various departments to collect necessary financial data and resolve accounting queries.
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies, legal standards, and best practices in all accounting activities to maintain operational integrity.
