Description
Latif Brothers (Instruments) is seeking a technically competent and motivated Senior Field Service Engineer to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of analytical instrumentation. The successful candidate will help ensure equipment operates safely, accurately, and reliably, while providing responsive technical support to customers.
Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, test, and maintain analytical instruments and related electrical/electronic equipment.
- Diagnose equipment faults, perform troubleshooting, and carry out repairs and preventive maintenance in line with manufacturer guidelines.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers, including guidance on equipment operation and basic fault resolution.
- Conduct performance checks and functional testing to help ensure equipment accuracy, reliability, and safe operation.
- Review technical manuals, wiring diagrams, service documentation, and product specifications to support servicing and repairs.
- Maintain clear records of installations, service visits, maintenance activities, faults, repairs, and parts used.
- Coordinate with sales, service, and product teams to support demonstrations, installations, customer training, and technical queries.
- Assist with product evaluations, acceptance testing, and technical documentation where required.
- Follow company procedures, electrical safety requirements, and relevant equipment-handling protocols.
- Travel to customer sites when required and represent the company professionally.
