Laxicon Online is seeking an experienced and qualified Online English Tutor to deliver engaging and effective English language instruction to students through virtual platforms. The ideal candidate has a minimum of three years of teaching experience, particularly in English as a Second Language (ESL) or English as a Foreign Language (EFL), and excels at creating dynamic lesson plans tailored to individual student needs. This role requires flexibility for teaching during evenings and weekends, ensuring availability to accommodate various student schedules. The successful tutor will utilize virtual classroom platforms, including Zoom, to foster communicative language teaching and deliver lessons in an interactive and supportive environment. In this position, you will work independently without team management responsibilities but will play an essential role in helping students improve their English communication skills, prepare for examinations such as GCSE or IGCSE (preferred), and gain confidence in their language abilities. The role demands a reliable internet connection and a strong command of online teaching tools to deliver high-quality lessons that encourage student participation and progress. Your expertise in lesson planning and classroom management in a digital environment will support Laxicon Online’s mission to provide accessible and effective English education worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Develop customized lesson plans using communicative language teaching methods suitable for online delivery.
