Leibniz Technologies & Solutions invites motivated and enthusiastic fresh graduates to join our ISP Technical Team as Network Support Engineer Interns. This internship offers hands-on experience in networking, ISP operations, and telecommunications, providing an excellent foundation for those seeking to build a career in these areas. Interns work closely with experienced engineers, gaining practical exposure to real-world network monitoring, troubleshooting, reporting, and various technical operations involved in maintaining a robust ISP infrastructure. The internship focuses on developing a deep understanding of key networking concepts, protocols, and tools. Interns will learn to identify and resolve network issues using monitoring tools and diagnostic commands such as Ping and Traceroute. Additionally, they will acquire skills in switching, routing, VLAN configuration, and management under the guidance of industry professionals, thereby enhancing their technical knowledge and problem-solving capabilities in a dynamic operational environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor ISP network performance to identify and address faults and issues proactively.
- Assist in troubleshooting network problems utilizing tools such as Ping, Traceroute, and network monitoring software.
- Support configuration and maintenance of network switches, routers, and VLANs under supervision.
- Collaborate with the technical team to analyze network traffic and ensure optimal connectivity and uptime.
- Document technical procedures, network configurations, and incident reports accurately.
- Assist in reporting network outages, performance metrics, and operational status to senior engineers.
- Participate in routine network testing to validate network performance and reliability.
- Gain practical experience in handling real-time ISP operations and customer support related to networking issues.
- Apply knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and network troubleshooting techniques to resolve customer and network challenges.
- Develop skills in coordinating with cross-functional teams for seamless network management and problem resolution.
