Description
Leopard is seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Boy to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering packages promptly and safely to customers, ensuring customer satisfaction through timely service and careful handling of goods. This role demands strong navigation skills and the ability to work independently, as well as managing simple coordination with a small team. Experience in delivery services is preferred, with a minimum of one year required. In this position, you oversee a team of one, coordinating daily delivery schedules and routes to maximize efficiency. The Delivery Boy must maintain excellent communication with the warehouse and management team to ensure smooth operations. Attention to detail and a commitment to customer service are essential, as well as adherence to all safety and traffic regulations while on duty.
Responsibilities
- Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrival of packages.
- Safely load and unload items from delivery vehicles without damaging goods.
- Manage a small team, coordinating daily tasks and delivery schedules to meet performance targets.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with warehouse staff and management about delivery status and any issues encountered.
- Verify delivery documents and obtain signatures from recipients to confirm successful deliveries.
- Handle customer inquiries respectfully and resolve any delivery-related issues promptly.
- Maintain the cleanliness and good working condition of delivery vehicles.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Report any accidents, vehicle malfunctions, or route changes to the supervisor immediately.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents during delivery.
