Description
Join Lhv as a Nutrition specialist where you will utilize your expertise in nutritional assessment to support the health and well-being of individuals. This role involves evaluating dietary needs, creating tailored nutrition plans, and monitoring patient progress to ensure optimal health outcomes. With at least two years of relevant experience required and a background aligned with Lhv standards, you will contribute to enhancing the nutritional status of clients through detailed analysis and evidence-based strategies. In this position, you will not manage a team but will work collaboratively with healthcare providers and clients to deliver comprehensive nutritional guidance. Your experience with Lhv or similar organizations, coupled with strong skills in nutritional assessment, will be key to successfully supporting the dietary goals of diverse populations. You are expected to stay current with nutrition science and apply best practices in all assessments and recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough nutritional assessments to evaluate clients’ dietary intake, health status, and nutritional needs.
- Develop personalized nutrition plans that address specific health goals and conditions.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting nutrition plans as necessary based on clinical outcomes.
- Provide education and counseling on healthy eating habits, disease prevention, and management through nutrition.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to integrate nutritional care into overall treatment plans.
- Stay updated with the latest research and guidelines in nutrition and apply them in practice.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of nutritional assessments and interventions.
- Support community health initiatives related to nutrition and wellness.
- Assist in training and educating clients about the importance of balanced diets and lifestyle changes.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards in nutritional care.
