Responsibilities

• Conduct astronomical observations using telescopes and other instrumentation to collect data on celestial bodies and phenomena.
• Analyze and interpret data sets related to star systems, galaxies, planetary bodies, and cosmic events using specialized software and analytical tools.
• Develop and implement research studies that test scientific hypotheses in the field of astronomy.
• Prepare detailed reports and scientific papers documenting research findings, methodologies, and conclusions for publication in academic journals and presentations at conferences.
• Collaborate with other researchers, institutions, and organizations to share data, insights, and techniques.
• Stay current with advancements in astronomy and related fields to apply new methods and technologies to ongoing research.
• Utilize statistical and computational methods for modeling and simulation of astronomical processes.
• Assist in the maintenance and calibration of observational equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of data.
